XM or sirius?

I have Sirius. It's great at work streaming on-line. I also belive if you get another subscription it is only about $7 a month, so if you install in more than one car. I got mine 1.5 years ago when they had a rebate on the Jensen receiver and I got it free. Haven't seen that since though.

Also keep in mind the XM will have MLB in 2005...for me being a huge Cubs fan...this is great news to me....

No one's said anything about Playboy radio yet, including myself. Never heard it anyway since we only listen to whats available at work. Sirius has Maxim radio to compete. Anyone else have comments on these?

I would suggest NOT paying for an extended term of Sirius, as much as I like their service, since there are rumors that they may end up bankrupt, but I guess it's all speculation.

I've had XM for about 2 years now and wouldn't give it up for anything. Its cheaper, their technology updates run circles around sirius. As far as programming, its personal music preference. You can listen to both for 3 days to test it out. One thing new on sirius tho, if you're an eminem fan, is the Shade 45 channel

As far as those who said they had signal issues, it may have been an antenna or something because XM's technology, satellites, etc. are far superior.

I don't know about the bankrupt of sirius rumors...but if they don't start bringing their a game, it wouldn't be hard to believe.

i have xm in one of my cars (had it for 2 years and going) its nice with the fact that it hardly ever loozes signal but to me it seams kinda borring, but im shure sirius isnt any better

edit: who has playboy radio on there xm it jsut sounds so funny to me that people would spend money on only the sounds of wemon

Playboy radio isn't like hearing porn, it's supposedly a pretty entertaining talk show about more adult subjects. But like I said, I haven't heard it so I can't vouch for it.

The Sirius rep told me that you have to pay $4/month to get online streaming for XM but it's free for Sirius. Haven't verified this.
