the hardware should be fine. Now the price is what will change. they will still be 2 seperate companies but you will have the option to get some siruis channels or some xm channels. or you could get both.

sirius is mostly unedited too...

I've had both, they come close, but I have Sirius right now.

If you like sports, Sirius is the only way to go. XM has what, baseball, hockey, and IRL? Sirius broadcasts every NFL, NBA, NASCAR, and some college football and basketball.
