XM or Sirius

they both have good and bad points. i have sirius in my truck and my wife has xm in her cr-v. xm, generally speaking, has more channels that we would listen to, but a few of their channels have let in a lot of comercials and ads. while i dont notice this at all with sirius but their lineup isnt as impressive to me.

d/l FTW!!!1!1

SIRIUS!! commercial free which is a big winner, xm i just dont like my dad has it in his caddy and *****es like once a month how his sirius was better. i cant live without my sirius in the car.

My dad, mom, and myself all have XM. My dad and I have the pioneer Inno which is a wonderful device. I really like XM but then I've never really listened to Sirius so my opinion is pretty bias. I love to listen to Squizz, Lucy, Ethel, The Move, BPM, and XM Chill. Probably my favorites right there.

They will be merging in the coming months, just waiting for the SEC to approve it iirc.
And the pricing structure is going to change as well. No more 12.95 a month.
Say I get XM and the thing for my Pioneer radio to control it. When they merge will it still work or should I just wait?
