XM Finally for Eclipse !!

I thought getting sirius would decrease the number of CD's i bought so i got it. turns out it just inspires me to buy more CD's because im introduced to more bands and want to really hear the shit at its best (cd form).

But now im hooked on the news channels...so i cant even give up sirius //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I personally have the chance to listen to both on an almost daily basis since I work @CC Roadshop. I think Sirius direct connect has better SQ hands down, it's not so compressed. And as stated, I like their rock stations a lot better.

werd, i hate xm. and i heard that nascar is going to sirius in 07... what will they have then? baseball?

sirius wins hands down imo.

Funny but it's true for me too. Talk radio via satellite is king for me, whether it be news or sports talk.

However, music SQ is no where near the "CD-like sound quality" advertise earlier by both XM and Sirius. As a matter of fact, my OTA FM stations have more fidelity than both offerings. I've tested them both and they just sound compressed and muddy to me.

I personally prefer Sirius, but tomorrow I'll be adding XM to my carputer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

XM costs a whole lot less to add then Sirius does...about 1/3 the price.

I bought some Sirius plug n plays before Christmas for $30 after rebate..not bad.

There are great deals on equipment for both companies...just gotta look for them.

I know. But I'm a little different...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For Sirius, I need a Sirius direct tuner...which is around $100, plus a $60 interface for my computer to hook it up.

For XM, I need a Terk XMD1000 ($50), plus a $10 cable that I have already.
