i was thinkin about getting xm. i have a nice *** pioneer hu that of course will accept xm.

so the question is, is xm worth the money?

I don't think so....but most of the music I listen to isn't played that often. It's value depends on your musical preferences.

I enjoyed XM. Definitely worth the money to me. I enjoy Sirius so much more though. I know that doesn't help you any, but there you go. If you are in your car for more than a few minutes a day it is defnitely worth 9.99 a month.

i think it is worth it. the quality is so much better than the radio and there is lots of different channels/stations.

Getting Sirius was one of the best things I ever did.

I have XM at work, and its ok. I wouldn't pay $10 a month for it.

I have Sirius and absolutely love it. I had it disconnected for a couple days while I was installing the Kenwood tuner and taking out the old Audiovox (which btw is now for sale..). When it was out of my truck I missed it. I almost feel like I can't live without it now. I don't have any experience with XM but I am VERY happy with Sirius.

i am also another happy addict of sirius. they pritty much have every thing that i want to listen to and more. its nice to lisen to music that you wouldnt normaly find on regulare radio. i would reather be paying my $3 more a month to have commercial-free music. also go to http://www.siriusradio.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Sirius/CachedPage&c=Page&cid=1065475754125 they have many resons to go with sirius.

Ahh, finally took the time to register. Been searching the boards for a few weeks now. So, you can either buy the Plug and Play tuners which are like $100 or so, or buy an FM modulator and a tuner? If this is correct, what are the advantages of buying the modulator and tuner, because it ends up costing about $200 more then Plug and Play?

I run Sirius and love it. Overall, I think satellite radio is great.
