The mayhems would have been an upgrade over the XLs. I know someone who did a direct swap from XL 18s to mayhem 18s and gained and peaked like 2hz lower in the same box. The consensus is that Mayhems dont get low, and they generally cant, but in the right box they absolutely will. A teammate had 2 18s walled and was doing like 154+ down to I believe 28hz on 1 DC 9k
