I'm in Ur F0rumZ
Just hooked up my newly acquired Xenon 600.1, and am dissappointed, but it is hopefully user error.
It does not put out ANYWHERE near the 821 the performance sheet says. I'd guess the sub is getting 75 watts at best.
I've played with the subsonic, low pass, bass boost, and finally gains. Even all the way up, the sub doesn't move much. The sub is a Xenon 10d2, wired into a 4 ohm load for efficiency. I've boosted everything on the deck and to no avail. It is hooked up correct, as the sub controls control, well the sub.
I plugged a Sony Xplod amp into this same sub and had much better results, so what's wrong?
The only thing that confuses me is that there are 2 sets of +-'s instead of one, which I thought Mono blocks only had one. Even if I had to bridge, the output isn't correct.
My remote is an 18 gauge, Power is an 8 gauge, ground is a 4 gauge. RCA's are Rockford and the Distro block checks.
Heck, the 2 rear channels of my Audiobahn bridged is louder.
