Alright, well a couple days ago, I got Xbox Live hooked up finally and I'm enjoying Counter-strike quite a bit. I thought you could play madden on it. I just got Xbox Connect (Almost like xbox live, except free) and I was playing halo earlier. Its great fun but the lag makes Live so much more worth it.

although i have xbox live... i never play it... always to laggy for my taste.. most of the time im on socom 2 on ps2 online. or someother game on ps2

i use gamespy tunnel software to play Halo. it kicks *** personally i feel its better than live becuase it doesnt lag and its FREE. but you need to have a modded xbox so.......

Yes go there a good site with helpful forums and tutorials. Just make sure you know exactely what your doing before opening your xbox up otherwise your gonna have a very expensive doorjamb.

Im running an Xodus Chameleon and it works nicely. Ive also heard good things about the Xecutioner sp? and others

are you sure you need a modded xbox in order to play using tunneling software? if i remember correctly, i played halo online using XBC before i modded my xbox.

i'm pretty sure that tunneling doesn't require a modded xbox, just a computer on the same network running the tunneling software.

since i still have my free year of xbox live, i haven't used XBC though, so maybe it's been changed.

It doesnt actually you just need to have the ability to route your xbox through your computer. However since mine is modded I have the software directly on my xbox harddrive so no need for a computer.
