XBOX in an Integra...

Here's a question for anyone who knows....

Recently I decided that I want to hookup my car (94Integra) with a DVDplayer, and hopefully add my XBOX system to it as well... here's my idea, and here's where i need help...

I want to somehow tie in my laptop to my current headunit and use that for the DVDplayer, and somehow just use the monitor for XBOX... my delema is that i wish i knew how to hook the computer to the headunit.... and once i do that, how could i possibly hookup the XBOX so that i just use the computer's monitor???.. I have some thoughts... first being that there must be some type of converter for the computer so that i can use the monitor for XBOX, like an adapter to plug the A/V wires into the computer, and second being there must be a way to tie it all together....

Someone please help!

Anyway, any suggestions are more than welcome... peace.

that sounds impossible, it'd be easier to get sunvisor or headrest monitors

Well, first I don't know if the xbox has a vga adapter (Dreamcast came out with one) which allows you to use a computer monitor. Then your laptop would have to have an input for that. if not you would have to find a seperate graphics card with the a/v connections. Like iamamp said that may be impossible. I don't know much about laptops and there accessories. However being able to play the sound from the laptop is more possible, if it has an external plug for external speakers then the laptop is capable of that. The Head unit would need an auxilary input, if that is not available I have heard an Fm modulator could work as an input. if it has an auxilary input radio shack and even walmart carry the wires to convert it to rca cables, just be sure what ever plug comes out of your computer, is for both channels.

I just realized how much of a dumba** i am... i forgot that xbox has a dvd player in it... so instead of the laptop, why not just buy screens for the visors or a dashmounted screen:wacky: , hell even headrest screens would work... thanks for the enlightenment there!!!
