HAHAHa man...im willing to bet 1/5 of the people that are dissing the 360 havent played one (maybe a retail kisok, but that doesnt really show it off well)

Ive had mine for around a week, and LOVE it. Ive even left it on for 4 hours while i was at work, and it didnt over heat or freeze (once, with an old origonal xbox game)

The graphics- WAY better then the xbox, and the best coinsole thats out now (i know i will hear, the ps3 will do this and that, and **** your dick, but honestly, untill it comes out, i dont wanna hear shit)

Xbox 360 sucks. They over heat, and crash. My friend has to put 2 fans on his just to play for a few hours and it still gets hot... Wait for the ps3

mines been on for 6+ hours and was only lukewarm...

I know 6 people that have one and none have had the slightest problem.......the graphics for call of duty are easily the best for the current game. These are the first batch of games for it..remember when the first games for the first xbox came out?compare it to the current graphics of xbox games....they aren't using the 360 to its fullest yet...if you don't have call of duty you can't comment on the 360's graphics...

How many people here "dissin'" the 360 actually have one?... (none?) Hmmm...

I'm a brutal critic of anything, including stuff I've invested hundreds/thousands of dollars in, and after owning them for a while I can't say that the Xbox 360 is less than what it claims to be, or even less than you'd expect.

The hardware is nothing short of spectacular, and the games are coming in.

MS is losing more than a hundred dollars on each box sold right now -- their money is on the [later revenues of the] addiction, so don't dis' the box if you don't know what you're talking about.

Sony, Nintendo, MS, PC, MAC lovers -- I truly believe that you need to find another actual human to have a relationship with, even a good buddy -- get off the computer, and off of the toilet with the roll of butt wipes and lotion. Stop hatin', and start lovin' (the gurlz that is).

I have played on my buddies and have to admit, they have pretty good graphics, but my buddy dosent have HDTV. But I have played them on the widescreen tv at best buy and it was a little better, but not buy much. He has complained about it getting too hot though. I will wait as well for the PS3. I just got a PSP and love it to death. I am amazed at the game play and graphics for a hand held system. To the people that say that the PS3 is better, how the F do you know? You've never played it because it's not even out yet. Sure, the PS3 has good specs but again so does the 360 when it's written down on paper. Maybe the first PS3's that are released will have problems, then you'll all be like "The PS3 F-in sucks". So shut the F up till you can compare them after you play them.

The xbox 360 is nothing spectacular. My roommate has one, so yes, I've played Call of Duty and Perfect Dark considerably during its release. Remember the step up in graphics between the last two generations (n64/ps1 to xbox/GCN/ ps2) and how that completely 'wowed' everyone? The 360 never did that to me. Sure, the graphics are fantastic, but are they are not that great (especially compared to games put on my regular pc laptop, which is far short of anything resembling a gaming laptop)? No. Yes, games will eventually come out for the 360 (I'd LOVE to see the next MechWarrior and Jade Empire, heaven forbid), but the system lacks any Japanese support, which is VERY bad when it comes to game developement. I feel the 360 could have faired so much better if it released with the ps3 so that upgrades could be given. Anyone remember the Dreamcast? No, MS won't go the way of Sega (consumer support is much stronger than that of the Dreamcast), but IMHO it was a bonehead move to try to beat the ps3 out of the gate for the sake of being the first console out.

My problem isn't with the system succombing to understandable technical issues (a few of which I'm skeptical aren't user error), but with the system and MS's refusal to truly upgrade its next generation console. Yes, the graphics are great, but the ps3 will likely surpass it (yes, I'll say it now...because unless Sony absolutely craps out, it will happen), and the pc will definately upgrade and easily surpass both systems within about a year of the ps3's release. Gameplay hasn't changed that much either (ps3 can't boast that either, unfortunately); however, the Nintendo has taken great strides to upgrade its gameplay elements. So basically, the 360 can boast for the time being, but I have a feeling that it'll soon become a secondary system to Nintendo's new gameplay and Sony's speculated 1080p and Blu-Ray (or HD-DVD)...which is bad because the competition between Sony and MS is good.

Yes, most of this is speculation, but most of the speculation will, in some way or another, be true.

Wow, this is really long. My conclusion...I'm not too impressed with the 360 because it's not that fantastic of a step up. Yes, it's good...but not that great, and it appears as though it'll be surpassed in all categories (with exception to exclusive games and their fan base) by other systems, whether that be ps3, Revolution, or pc.

Yeah, we hooked it up to one of our friend's HDTVs. It still wasn't that great...720p, DVD quality.

Yeah, the only thing I feel the 360 has going for it is the fact they have some nice games coming. Oblivion does look very nice on that system.

I just picked up a 1080 tv. I dont know how much better that would be than a 720, or if the xbox will even support that high of a dpi. Either way im gonna wait for it to drop in price. No video game system is worth 400+ to me.
