Playstation Network, although free, is not as user-friendly as Xbox live....

Other than that, blu-ray is the only thing i wish xbox had.

If you want something that does a good amount of multimedia, blu-ray, free online, and better of the two for streaming---->PS3

gaming--->XBOX

for the price of a PS3, spend some more $$ and just build yourself a server

These...i have both....but my ps3 collects dust....online is horrid...people use cheap bluetooth mics and the voices sound like shit...and you have to leave the game to private chat or play a song....on 360 you hit one button and bam.....never leave the game....instant invites to up to 8 people in a party..or everyone on your friends list....+ i watch blu-rays on my 360 too.....for FREE!

No you don't...downloading torrent rips and burning them onto dvds =/= blu ray

I have both consoles and for me, the 360 collects dust. I think as far as pure gaming goes, they're equal. The 360 sounds like it has a much better online system (I've never been big into online so this isn't a big deal for me) but PS3 comes with a lot of extra capability like blu ray, multimedia, etc.
