Xbox 360 vs. PS3

I had a 360 stop reading discs within 7 months sent it in got it back and it got "fixed" and still did the same thing. Sent it in again and got it "fixed" again did the same thing. I finally went through circuit city warranty and just got my money back bought a ps3 had the same one for year and a half. 360 was fun while it worked thinking of getting one now to play mass effect 2 on :/

Oh, The PS3 in original or slim is far more stylish than the 360 and its mish-mosh of colors.

Truth. The 360 is ugly as hell...I've got a nice black entertainment rack which holds my nice black receiver and black PS3...then there's the big white 360 at the bottom just looking like a queer.

Yeah it's just the pics....and that's crazy....i have dl'd like 5 terabytes worth of shit and never had any problems

I have an xbox360 and have been recently streaming blu-ray movies and it looks WAy good.

It's not exactly blu-ray 1080P quality but it's very very good.

hmmm, why not buy the PS3 for the few worthy online games, 360 for offline games, and Wii for parties? Probably the same price as one system and a bunch of games anyway.

I can't comment on the 360 side of the equation as I don't own one and I'm not a "fanboy" of either console or brand. All I can just say is I love my PS3!

Originally I purchased it just for BR movies as it was the best/cheapest player on the market for years. It's a beautiful picture on my Samsung LCD.

I have over the past 1.5 years had it break down on me and had to spend $150 for sony to put in a new BR laser/reader. That pissed me off but more so because I was without my machine for 2+ weeks rather than the fee. Also over time I've started to use it more for gaming with Uncharted 1/2, MW 2, Fifa, and MGS4 all having good->great multiplayer or replayability.

You must get netflix 3 disc rotation plan + online streaming. It gives you a weekend full of entertainment for the price of 2 movie tickets. Netflix does need to work on their online streaming catalog as most new titles are not an option.
