eh... I've watched the legit auction closed prices skyrocket on release day to $1500-$2000 for a Premium console only, then slowly drop over the following weeks, and now on
eBay you can get one for about what it would cost you in gas, sale price, tax, and time (little more than MSRP). It's not a bad time to grab one now.
I sold one for $910 and another with extra accessories and some games for $1100. That was a week and 2 weeks after release. Anyone who thought they'd be "smart" and cash in on the Christmas demand at the end was competing with 7000 other auctions, so the prices had a sharp dive.
