I never understood why so many people are attracted to them????

You can buy a nice PC for the price of the games and controllers and subscriptions and all that other bullsh!t. Oh and a PC can do a FAWKTON more than a lame *** console browser + sub-par graphic gaming.

Consoles are for douche-bag frat boys who can't work a PC and only know "Let's play some Halo 3 Bro!"

ehhhhhhh i wouldn't say that.

i built my computer initially years ago as a gaming machine. went thru many upgrades and hardware changes that i pretty much stopped with the whole gaming computer cause i don't really play games on here anymore. my computer is still nice, yes, it is,.. but i would much rather play my games on my 360 with a 1080P resolution.

Actually, console video cards tend to be tweaked quite heavily towards the graphics engine the console games employ. Where as your PC has to be a 'jack of all trades, master of none'. Console graphics tend to be more detailed and yet still smoother. Its the one big advantage I think console systems have over PC gaming.

Yea i'm just mad cuz I **** @ console games except racing lol.

But if anyone is wondering, the 360 basically uses an ATI Radeon X700 (equivalent)

Which is nothing special at all in the PC world.

Oh and to the guy talking about 1080p, many new PC cards actually have the ability to playback in HD now. If you have a decent enough CPU to handle the FPS then a PC will playback 1080p.

As said Microsoft extended the E74 error to 3 years. Should have went through them first. Now you will have to get a new console, or pay MS to fix it.

Which is nothing special at all in the PC world.

Oh and to the guy talking about 1080p, many new PC cards actually have the ability to playback in HD now. If you have a decent enough CPU to handle the FPS then a PC will playback 1080p.

Besides, I can type up some papers for college, check CA and break out the L4D, all from the same machine.

Where did you see the error message? My buddies has the 3 rings, and wants to know where to start fixing it, but doesn't know what error it is...

to fix the 3 rings... put your wrap your xbox in a towel and bake it for about 4 hours... then your good to go

who really hooks their computer up to their 50" plasma in the living room? I know i certainly dont. I have my 22" monitor for my computer in my computer room. Console game systems are more of a convenience than pc gaming. me personally, i dont like using a keyboard/mouse combo to play games. i'll stick w/ my 360

And yet the graphics on a console game far exceed that of most people's PC equivalents. Again, because the video system and processor are specially tweaked to work their best with the graphics engine employed to make that console's games.
