Well I think LIVE was great at first, and still is today. I just think looking ahead Sony tends to stick around well. I mean how many people would think Myspace is as big as it is today?
Posting pics of your friends, yourself, and all other stupid sorts of junk. I see HOME as an extension of that type of trend. I'm not saying I myself am going to pimp out my virtual apartment, but I think the concept is a bit more ahead than the simple interface of LIVE.
Even with the improvements LIVE is about to get in the fall, mainly avatars, that look like Mii's.
In general Home is a whole other concept compared to LIVE. I know its been delayed alot, and all game companies are guilty of that.
I also don't see Xbox upping the resolution of their movie content anytime soon. mainly because of the huge space it takes on a hard drive.
They recently announced their 60gig HDD model, however most of us 20 gig owners, don't have the room to store that type of content. But I do suppose a larger hard drive is a step in the right direction, for 1080p content. Ughh idk, overall i was dissapointed with all of E3.
Gears of War 2, God of War 3, Fallout, and a few others stuck out to me. Nintendo didn't really show squat, but I read about the game "Madworld" looks insanely cool. Made up of ex-clover developers, real potential there.
