Trying to get some BOOMTY
Hi all,

I was wondering.

If an AMP comes with a built in X-over, is another "add on" X-over needed.

All I am running with this AMP is 3 subs, paralle. Should I get a add on X-over or use the built in X-over.

The amp is a jensen A300HLX.

Thanks a mill! :stuck:

just use the xover on the amp, i just set mine to 80hz Low Pass Filter, and this amp puts out 200w rms at 4ohm bridged... so i dunno how much power u subs need or if they are 2/4ohm rated

Thanks for info!!

My subs are lightning audio P2.10.4 they clame to be 500w peak and only 100w RMS. Soon I will get another sub and run them series/paralle to keep the OHMS down. PEICE!!

id suggest getting a new amp if your are going to add a 3rd sub, or they will only get like 50w each... 1/2 of wat they need (even right now its 200w for 3 100w subs.....)

In time I will get more powerfull amps. I am just learning and cash is also a problem.

I thought that wiring woofers in series/paralle, amp bridged, would give each woofer the max, but keep the ohms down at 4ohm. I guss that sounds wrong, now that im thinking about it.

THANKS!! for clearing that up.
