X-Over Positioning

alright, so ive herd serveral rumors on where to position teh x-over...ive herd that the door is a really bad place...any other suggestions? im going to have teh a/d/s 346 cs's, and they have a very large crossover so the position has to be correct...any ideas? no metal to metal i assume?

it doesn't really matter. I've put them in doors, under the seats and all the way in the trunk. If you do use the door make sure they are very secure so they don't rattle. And also put something in between them so they don't rattle if the metal flexes. I had to move mine due to the doors flexing and now they're under the seat. Only downfall is I had to run another set of wires which is a pain!

Just place them anywhere they won't be exposed to the elements.

In the door, between the door panel and the inner sheetmetal is fine as they shouldn't get wet and would be out of the way.

Trunk, under seats, under the dash, in the center console, etc.
