wuts ur take on Sony CDX-F7705X

Been looking for a h/u and stumbled across in a crutchfield mag the new Sony CDX-F7705X. I know sony kinda blows for car audio... but the specs seem to be great for what it is.

Does anyone have one that could share their experience with it? I would greatly appreciate it!

Dude, Eclipse. It's obvious you aren't looking for anything special, but the Eclipse CD3424 has 3 sets of 2.7V preamp outputs, plays MP3's and CD's, and will retail at 249.99. The CD3434 is the same thing but with a motorized faceplate and will retail at 299.99. The CD5444 has 5 volt preamp outputs and is 449.99, that might be out of your price range. Most stores will have special promotions for them too. The place where I always shop for my stuff has a 10% discount off of them and then an additional 5% so for me I would be getting it at 226.57. Do yourself a few favors: 1) STAY AWAY FROM SONY! 2) STAY AWAY FROM CRUTCHFIELD! THEY ARE A RIP-OFF!

Yea i kno crutchfield is a ripoff... i was just sayin that i saw the h/u in their mag. I like to look at crutchfield's info tho... cuz they have a lot of stuff and i can quickly check specs. Other than that, i go elsewhere lol. But thx for lookin out for me. Yeah, I want at least 4 volt preamps. I guess i'll hafta keep shopping. If there's anyone else out there who's had an actual experience with this unit, please share it with me! Thank you much
