I thought there was a thread about this amp and how it can be converted to do 1200Wattsrms...

I have this same amp. I was never able to find that thread about convertring this amp.

All you have to do is wait till the amp turns on then hook the subs up. It makes the Xe load see the ohm load as 0. I've done it @ 2ohms, it works, but the amp gets hot really fast. I wouldn't suggest it other than testing purposes. It'll put out some serious power @ 1ohm if you dare, upwards of 2k from what I've been told. Also keep in mind these amps have no fuses.

but at normal loads it never gets hot or any other issue
