I am looking for someone local within an hour or two to trade for my JL 12W7. I am really up for a lot of trades, amps, subwoofers, maybe even misc stuff. The pictures are at the top. I bought the subwoofer about a year back, it has not been used for a good 4 months now. Cosmetically, 7/10. Mechanically, 10/10 (I haven't run into any issues with it). I included the cosmetic damage in the pictures.

Shoot me some trades if your local. I want something that will sound good off no more than 700 watts. Looking mainly for an SQ sub.

Doesn't look like too bad a of a sub. Not sure if I want something that is hard to re-sell though, no matter how good it is. Like I was mentioning I will prolly switch out this sub not long after I get it ha.

I will let you know if I am interested in the ONYX. At least you are pretty local.

Sladderson, I will definitely keep that in mind. For JLJunkie, the SSI looks a little too beat up for me. Looks like the motor is oxidizing and the black plastic surround looks a little beat up as well. Sorry, if it was like new, I would have loved that.

The oxidizing look is the styrafoam stuck on it from sitting in the factory box. Wiped it with a cloth and looks fine. I can get recent pics. I got the sub a couple months ago and it has literally sat because I dont have an amp to power it.

That is another reasons that I am not 100% interested in it. I want something that will perform plenty well off of max 700 watts. The SSI 15" is around 1000 rms and that is still playing it safe.

Actually the RMS power for the SSi is 750 watts

Yeah the max is 2000. The general rule is divide it by 2. Just like type-r, rms is 500, but everyone knows it is really more than that.

Alright, IMO i would trust a companies recommendations rather than a general rule of thumb. Anways, if you are ever interested, the offer is there.
