WTT: JL 13W6V2's....

Hey guys, as stated I would like to trade my W6's for either 2 12" that would sound good off 600 wrms each, a single 12" that can take 1200 wrms, or a single 15" that can take 1200 wrms fine. And I am looking for subs that are very strong in the low end.

lol, I dont care if people hate on them. The fact is, they are an amazing driver. They sound extremely well, produce a full rich tone, but will pound hard.

you want to trade 2 13w6v2's.. ?? i have an orion 12 inch H2 2 ohm.. it has one little ding on the front but it doesnt hurt performance.. you can check the orion website for watts.. its up there tho i think over 1500...

is there anythign wrogn with the jl's?

the reason I am wanting to trade them is because I just want to hear new things. I like them very much, but I want to culture myself more with car audio.

just get a 15" L7, run 1200 watts to it, and get cultured

bad idea imo, you have some of the best subs available, why trade down? if you want to culture your audio experience my advice would be ditch the ported box for a sealed one and get a bigger amp.

id be willing to bet $50 with you that you regret giving up the jls if you do.

well, I really cant put these in a box that will reach their full potential. Right now, they are each at aonly 1.84 ft^3, and they need at least 2.5 imo. It will not hit the lows in my car, no matter what. I have also been told that it may just be my car. Great subs, just dont have room or the right vehicle for them.
