i have a rockford power punch dvc 15 this sub is in great con there are a couble of scratches on the magnet besides that this sub is in perfect condition. i am open to all trades just let me know what you got.

Use a DMM. You connect the DMM sensors to the terminals for each coil and set the DMM to ohms. It will display the impedance of each coil. This verifies that both coils are not toasted or damaged.

how much power are you looking for, for the JL's?

i would like a jl 500/1 or something that would be equal to that so something with about 500 rms i would like to have something so if i decide to up grade the subs i can and that way i wont have to work the amp that hard

i built this box for two of these;

thats in the back of an explorer. i had them on a power acoustik a1000db and it did 143.xx on the TL with music.

bad *** subs, if they had a bit more excursion they would be superbadass.

low port area for low excursion driver. too much port area and they would have reached xmax too easy and the cones would have blown off.
