like the title says i am looking to trade my XX-Herc for a 1500 watt amps that are strapable at 1 ohm + sum dough.

kicker zx 1500.1

mtx 1501d

sundown1500d maybe

any other quality amps are also recommended. I have pics just reply and we can talk.

edit: or for a 2500-3k watt amp

if ur strapping at 1 ohm you realize each amp is seeing a 0.5 ohm load..u got the proper electrical?

^^^ not bad. u should be ok after the alternator. I know that I ran that mtx1501D at 1 ohm one time and it cut the truck off. lol. u could say i have had a lot of equipment and ****ed it up. haha. i wish i had an amp for ya. but def. run something with zenon boards. like atomic, sundown, anything like that shouldnt give you troubles at half ohm daily.

Have you looked into the MMATS amps??? they would be really good for your application.

My first amp was a mtx1501d in my exploder on a stock alt and batt and it barely dimmed at 2 ohm, and at .5ohm it was nasty loud but did have a bit a dimming when the bass hit really hard.

yeah i would love to have a mmats 3000.1 but can only find 3000.5 Seems like ever since i quit ca in 07 and came back Amps like these seem to fall to the way side to brands like sundown, rockford,rd, aq etc...

yeah but how many watts would it put out at 1 ohm which is what i need trying to stay in the 2500-3000 watt range. If i got a 3k amp, or strap two 1500's gains would be down considerably til i see how the subs handle the power.
