Same power as my Exile X5. I am looking to go bigger. Plus yours is really minty. Looking for a amp that has been around the block. It is most likely going to be hidden under my cars back seat. so it won't be seen.

It would just be pointless. My exile puts out the exact same power. Looking for a 8k amp really. That would be PERFECT.

I probably could. Because the RD 7500 is an Atomic 7k

And my amp IS an atomic 5k.

I wonder if the RD D9 was made by atomic too.

None were made by atomic. They just all probably share a common OEM manufacturer. IF your exile and my D9 share OEM, it is possible that you would be able to match the gains between the 2. It depends how far each company went from stock on the amps. Someone who knows more about these amps would need to be consulted for this.

My buddy who has fixed an RD 7500.1 and an atomic 7k...said they are the exact same amps. Absolutely no difference. He has owned both, fixed both and ran both. But I am unsure of the others.

RD did the same thing with the RD 3250. It shared all the same parts and board as a sundown 3000.

Ya, RD, sundown, Crescendo, Atomic, and others all run Zenon boards. The difference is in the parts on the boards, and any alterations from stock that the companies want. IIRC, Sundown is famous for wanting his to be different.

Its pretty funny how sundown uses zenon boards like the others. Yet a 3000 sells for $600 shipped usually. Ridiculous

I bet you $10 I could run that RD with my amp. Too bad I can't fit 2 of them. Trunk set up doesn't leave you with much room.

better parts used in the same layout and some small upgrades here and there......seriously.....and the warranty is kick@zz thru sundown......someone tell this guy about rd and atomic warranties lmao rofl lol

I know about sundowns warranty and how good it is.

But I don't need a warranty. Proper install and gain setting. Should never blow a new amp reguardless. So warranty is pointless. Besides. I have a friend who can fix amps. So no worries there either. Would never pay $300 for a broken sundown 3500. That's stupid expensive.
