I have 2 of the newest Alpine type R's. They're 10's, but dual 2 ohm. They can take 1000 RMS each. They're in excelent shape! I only put 800 wats to each of them for about three months before I upgraded my system. They've just been sitting around. PM me if you're interested and I can send you some pics
