Powerbass makes a nice 4 channel that can be had for around $100 new with warrenty.

It doesn't compare really, I have owened both and obviously liked the sundown better although I don't think there is a better 4 channel for the value than the powerbass.

Alpha is a good brand. Are you sure you have your gains set right?
