So, I want to trade my 9813, for something a little more daily friendly lol.

I honestly have no use for the Time alignment, and other random stuff it has, but I would like a deck that has a little high preout voltage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif This one has 4v preouts, even 5v would be nice haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Let me know what you guys have =P

I was just messing with peeps.
But, I still prefer my Pioneer DEH-P6600 with it's 2v outs over my Alpine CDA with 4v outs.
Really? Because of the interface? Geoff has had lots of reliability issues with Pioneers, just ask him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It has been hooked up since I bought it new in the summer of '05, using the Front & sub pre outs, & it works like it did new. I really prefer the display it has, & it has more than enough tuning for me. I usually run a simple passive 2way front & single sub setup. Switch the preouts for Front/sub-nonfading, set my high & low pass filters, tweak the 3-band EQ & S-freq EQ, then adjust my amp gains & I'm all set.

The pico fuse issue is 100% user error. idk why some people like to install/uninstall **** so much, & if you do, just unplug the power before touching the RCA's. It's that simple. Other than that, I haven't heard of many issues with Pioneer.

Ah, so it is the interface then. And surprisingly, the screen. Interesting.

Yeah, I'm sure most prefer the display of Alpine. I'm not arguing Pioneer > Alpine, imo Alpine makes the better source units. I'm just saying that for what I need, & probably 90% of the people on this forum, the Pioneer is more than sufficient. I just can't justify spending $300 for something that isn't necassary. Unless you're running a true 3-way active front & sub setup, t/a & 3-way active capable h/u's are a waste of money. Just my .02

No actually it doesn't..... You're "point" was that my amp would be seeing less than 4v, no matter what hu and/or line driver I would use. In fact, it doesn't mention to much about your "point" at all. Don't come in here all high in mighty if in reality, you have no reason to celebrate or even seem triumphant.

Oh, and if Iirc, when I was shopping for a hu, Dylan, you told me to "Make sure you get something that has at least 4v preouts." So this means you had the same thought process........ Not looking like you are going to get the compliment or apology, whichever you were looking for huh?

Holy shit calm the fuck down we were just trying to get a point across! I'm tired of helping you out with shit if you are the one who gets all high and mighty. If you think that me trying to verify that you understood something is me getting a big dick, then you're wrong. It's not MY point I was trying to get across, it's A point (maybe I should have worded that better in my last post). And yes, I'm mad, bro.

Go run 50 line drivers in parallel and enjoy your 400v preouts.
