then you have a reconed re hc, not a btl.

This. The motor is not btl, it is not a btl. It is a re hc with btl softparts.

not possible! a hc motor will not allow a 8 layer coil from a btl and that is not a hc motor. take off the boot and get a better pix. there was only 2 versions of hc's and they all had tripple stack 3/4" slugs.
