Question, I have never used the AC version, I take it it still uses USB to the computer just not powered by USB. Is that correct?

Does it come with the software and lic. key for updates?

The ac powers the sensor box and it is connected to the PC via USB. The software is included on a USB Thumb Drive. I have the Lic. key not sure if it works. I bought the unit when it was a month old from someone else.
