Honestly though, you could've been more of a help by putting him in his place instead of censoring him.

If he is selling sub-par products, I would like to know about it. If he is a fraud, call him on it.

Now, if someone sees that sub on the board or egay and doesnt know any better then they could very well get a sub that is not up to par.

I think you are missing the point.

It's not an issue of him not knowing what he's talking about or the quality of his products. That is an unrelated issue.

It's about him trying to gain/increase/generate sales by utilizing the forum as a free marketing or profit generating tool. And by leaving the thread up, even in a negative light, it's accomplishing it's goal of free advertising by attracting attention to his company/products.
