alright well i went to do the OUTLAW meter last night and i hit 139.0 WTF lol i have a 15 SX with a 6 cubic box, and 1200 watts going to it. what could be the problem i have one layer of DIRECTED audio mate on my trunk or my MINI VAN windstar 96. and peel and seal on my doors one layer. BUT STILL wtf... how could i be hittting sooo lowwwwww.... i should be 140+ easy. and my gains where set right, my HU alpine was up on 35maxed it out with 32-40 hz test sweep, but I DIDNT USE MX could this be a problem? and my box is 32hz.

i mean yeah my lights dim but NOT like drop really bad. just alittle. when the car is on it reads 14.3 and the amp needs 12v. the sub is dual 2 ohm and wired down to 1ohm

nada lol i have a 130amp alternator, and a diehard gold. its not taht bad of a problem just my friend Jntar hit 139.4 with a orion 600 wired to .5 ohm with 2 10 sealed subs in his single cabin truck, but he dead matted teh hell OUT OF IT. is there anythign thing else i should try to do before i shoot the shit and start over?

lol, the first time I had my 2 10's and amps hooked up I set the gains, crossover points ssf the same and I overloked the bass boost, one was allthe way down the other was all the way up but looked al the way down

the box is ported. and the sub was firing to the back. 2 cubies is for the Port and 4 for the sub itself. i dont understand cause on daily drive teh THING is HELL to anyone that sits in it. even jntar sat in mine and he said it hit hard as hell, but when i went outlaw NADA i feel like i got screwed.

would using MX change my #'s?

32hz is pretty low tuning. and if your sub seems like you're not pushing it as hard as it can go and your volume is maxed out, reset your gains higher.

do u think i should make a SMALLER box? could it be my HU isnt strong enough with 4volt out. could my RCA's really matter?, should i look ingetting a different amp?

i think u should get a box with a removable port, tuned high for comps and low for dd'ing.

did you try metering Legal first?

how were you burping? I'd play a 42hz sine for AT LEAST 3 seconds on the new TL

where was the mic during the outlaw meter and what doors did you have open?

you should be pulling at least a low 140's

Turning MX on will only increase the volatage the amp is putting out.

If you use MX, youll need to reset your gains so your amp isnt clipping or giving your sub too much power.
