wtf is the deal with putting pics in a thread?

The only thing i see on here that says insert image is a freakin URL. I have my pics saved on my computer and want to place them directly onto a thread, WTF do i do?

That's because you need to upload them online somewhere so we all can see it...

Imageshack and Photobucket are two commonly used places to upload.
