WTF??? Is newegg stealing my money?

Ordered about 200 in parts from newegg, then canceled the order a few hours later as I was informed that what I ordered would not do what I wanted. I check my account status, online, about 5 minutes ago and it lists the amount newegg would have charged for order had I not canceled it as a transaction. Prior to this, the money was being held.

Is this just because it's the weekend and banks are usually closed? Think I am going to get the money back on tuesday or do I need to go dispute this with newegg and wachovia?

My guess is because banks are closed.

The funds are held for 48 hours, unless the items ship, the money will not be taken from your account.

I would wait till tuesday.

It was held for that amount of time and is now taken. Before this the posted balance was 200 dollars greater than my avaliable balance, now they are equal.
