ok, i hooked each VC up to a channel, and it responded to each 1. so i guess its ok. could anything else be wrong?

also, how do i get the thing unscrewed. theres screws coming from the back of the board, but none on top.

you have to release that band around the sub and then lift that ring around the sub and gently pull up the surround and you'll see the screws.

I think the jl website has instructions. They should have come with the sub

Not the shippers fault ding hole. USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and airborne express have all been known to fuk up packages.
