What was the point in even banning SM. When all the mods and most of the more fequent memebers know that he has another name he uses. Should he not be banned from any access to this site? Wow one of his usernames was banned what does that even accomplish?

I found it very humorous, anyone that is that ignorant deserves to be taught a lesson.

At first it was harmless i agree. He even got his money back so that is a good argument for him. The thing that gets me is this boy who was really wanting his amp to get fixed was spending all this time and effort with SM thinking he was getting somewhere. When he could have been calling and staying on Indo's azz about getting his amp fixed or his money returned. Im sure he was excited at the same time thinking he was actually going to get it repaired and shipped back. It was wrong in my book but my post was stating that IF they was going to ban him why would they still allow him to post on here knowing he has another username?

Your argument fails. He was dealing with Indo -- his first stupid mistake.
It is my opinion that Indo does not give a shit about their customer service rep, so he lost nothing during this time.

This idea that SM is an AE or is posting under an old name is just a myth.

Im not here trying to argue he was a smart kid. Dont think I could win that one. It was still morally wrong. I put myself in his shoes and I know I would be upset and dissapointed at the same time. He has enough to worry about dealing with indo audio and taking a loss of 400 dollars. He didnt need anymore by having a group of guys trick him into all this. Also it is not a myth, mythbusters busted that shit last night on TV.

Or you could possibly do a good deed and what the forum was intended for and teach the ones with less knowledge. It would have been just as easy to inform him never to deal with indo audio and what steps he could take to help him get his money or amp back.

Here is a point that the "ZOMG SM is a Scammer" crowd miss.

SM had what, 15K posts? At no time prior to the Indo thread did he ever indicate that he had anything to do with Kicker. Nor did anyone else make mention of any relationship to Kicker.

This goes not only to KingRanch's stupidity, but also whether SM thought he would continue to think that he was a Kicker rep.

Hell, KR was saying all along that people were sending him PM's saying SM was not associated with Kicker.

If KR had done any type of search at all he could have been able to figure out he was the butt of a joke. Ironically, he had just been admonished in that very thread about not doing a search in reference to the purchase with Indoaudio. Maybe even by some of these same people who "deceived" him.

All in all it is a shame that we keep KR and give SM the boot.
