wtf are these bass blocker things

why would u want to block bass lol what are those for ? probaly dumbasses

They are to block bass (and therefore distortion) from speakers that you dont want to use for bass. With a little reading, you could really have figured that out yourself.

bass blockers are devices to keep LF from going to speakers. They are actually part of what's in passive XOs. I used 'em when I first started doing upgrades in my stuff to keep LF from going to door speakers when powered off stock HU.

usually used for smaller midbass drivers, so a 5.25" mid doesn't try to reproduce 30hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

go to radioshack and get some caps you can use them to block bass only about $1
Yeah, the caps and inductors are really cheap, but I doubt the original poster would know that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I shall not let this turn into an FPD on my watch...at least, not 'till I say it is...it hasn't reached critical mass yet.
