wow i was just sending a PM to someone about the systems ive run or was in the process of installing. i knew it was a lot but WHAT THE FUCK!

ive gone through several vehicles and way more systems since Nov 07

Lol, I thought I was bad. I used to be like this years ago when I was younger. I think the same sometimes about all the equipment I had. If I had all the money I spent on car audio and the bars when I was younger I could buy a house and a car.

my main problem was i was in the military so i had the $ to do it.

I used to run my own shop so I did as well...

Had the money and all the time, tools to do everything...

everything ive built has been in my driveway or in my house

for SQ the ranger with the JL stuff was the best

for SPL the 4 cadence daytona 15's

also for SPL the

99z10 and 4 1508's were to far off from the daytona's on the TL

the 4 15's were 6db louder than the 4 8's

the 99z10 was mid 150's so it was close to the 15's

I know how you feel, look at my swaps, even though I kept recycling the same equipment:

In my Mustang:

July 08: Solobaric L5 12" - had to ditch spare tire, got flat 300 miles away from home, sub is lucky I didn't destroy it out of anger

Aug 08: 2 JL Audio 10w3v2s - these ****!

Sep 08: JL Audio 13w6v2 stealthbox - I stimulated the economy with my stimulus check //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Kind of wishing I had gone with two IDMAX 12s and built my own fiberglass boxes.

Next year plans: replace the POS Kappas up front with some decent components and delete the useless rear fill that I have gained into non-existence. I have grown to hate Infinity's MMD tweeter that is just an overhyped POS with regards to the mobile environment.

In my Civic:

October 08: Solobaric L5 - sounds like muddy crap; 10w3v2s - subs that produce no bass in a sealed box; dd1010 - r0x0r, but out of the car right now because my cousin is borrowing it for the month he is in from England

As for amplifiers, since July 08 I have been through

Memphis 1.5KD - damaged in shipping

Orion HCCA 250 - sucks down too much juice @ 1 ohm mono, may use again some other day after an electrical upgrade

Orion HCCA 225 - A friend of mine who owed me money gave me this. Was using it for highs @ 1 ohm stereo. Sounds great, will use again!

Soundstream Reference 700s - this amp gets hawt @ 2 ohms mono; sounds uber clean on highs, will use again another day but @ 4 ohms stereo

RF Power 351S - great amp, but RF cheats and adds tone control to the ultra low (45 hz) and ultra high (12kHz) end. I was going to run comps with it but the highs are too bright and the mids are dull.

I may have left a few things out, but my bank account can relate to your pain!

That's why I had to stop using RF. Sane problem with my T400-4.
