Alright I really need a new setup for the summer. Here is what the subs need to work alongside with and some suggestions:

Power Acoustik a3000db (2300x1 @1ohm)

5 Cubic Feet Total to build a box around

Suggestions include:

1 15" Dual 2ohm Subwoofer (Fi BTL)

2 10" Dual 4ohm Subwoofers (Kicker L7)

2 12" Dual 4ohm Subwoofers (Kicker CVX)

2 15" Dual 4ohm Subwoofers (Alpine Type R)

3 10" Dual 2ohm or Single 4ohm Subwoofers (Diamond D3)

3 12" Dual 2ohm or Single 4ohm Subwoofers (Diamond D3)

The subs in parentheses are just examples.

I have around $300 to work with here.

SPL > SQ, but a SQL would be ideal.

1.5 + 1.5 = 3

1.5 + 1.5 = 3

you can make dual 3, so 1.5 ohms in series|parallel, 6 ohms series, or (my favorite).35 parallel

DJman, can that sub handle around 1800rms DAILY or would you not think so?

As for everyone else, please remember the following.

Sub/Subs MUST be able to handle a total of 2100rms (figure PA overrates)

Sub/Subs MUST be $325 at the absolute most, not a penny more, and thats only for what I would consider a great deal. Would really prefer to spend between 275-300.

Kicker SoloX 10 Brand new in the box. Dual 1 (actually 1.4 so you would be at .7 perfect) Looking to get $350 I plan on putting 1 in my Civic about 4 cubes tuned around 35 off a Lanzar opti2000d which is coinsedently very similar to the PA you got. Let me know if you are interested?
