I am new to this site, but am looking for a new subwoofer! I am currently running a 1cubic ft sealed enclosure in my ram 2500 under my center console and its downfiring. I just cant seem to get the output out of anything in this box so i may consider doing a slightly bigger one and port it.

I am currently running a 10 and looking for a 10 that will work in that size of enclosure with 1000rms at 2 ohms, so im guessing a dual 4 ohm sub. I would also consider a 12 if i could get it to work in that box size.

So far ive been looking at something a long the lines of the audioque, mmats, sundown etc.

I do have some amps and other stuff i am not using that i would be willing to trade as well!

Id run a ported Digital Designs 1508 dual 4 in that size box...if done right it will make you more than happy....and can take 1000rms like a champ

what do i need to do to get more output i guess? I am strapped for room and like i said could go a little bigger and go ported on the box, but as far as woofers what would you suggest?

Going a little bigger and porting would be best... A sub like the Dayton HO 10 only needs .7 ported..

Id try porting first see how well it does before spending more on other subs/set up first without trying it out.My opinion

i think i saw somewhere someone selling a DD 2510 or 3510 something like that. i would pick one of those up. it will take that power no problem
