no, color does not matter as long as it is high quality wire.

I do have some 2ga welding wire if that will work. I should have at least 8ft of gray kicker wire. Let me check tonight and get you a shipped price if I do. Send me your zip.

I might also have 8ft of Knu Kolossus.

Let me know if the 2ga welding wire will work or the Knu if I have it.

Knu will work if its 2 gauge or 1/0 gauge

what is welding wire?...I don't think that will work to power up my Kicker 850.2.

I'd prefer Kicker wires, but Knu will suffice b/c they are just as good if its the kolossus.

Will the wire be ran inside the car? If it is, the welding wire will be fine. Many people on the forum use welding wire. Some people say it oxidizes but if it's inside the car, you will be fine.

Its going to be inside the car. But might have some moisture exposure if it rains and I have my trunk open.
