Or for someone to tell me how to load the copy that I have on disk without getting the windows counterfeit black screen. My copy is a legit site license but I always get that error. Never attempted to load into a flash drive. I'm sure it's possible

Go to start > control panel > System > Activate windows on that screen. Its at the bottom. It will tell you if its activated.

Doesnt matter what media you use to install the OS. It doesnt change the fact that you only get that message if you dont have Windows activated.

I realize that, I have a PC with no DVD drive and want to load windows 7 if I get that message after activation them I'll just buy another copy and hope that one doesn't give the same message

He doesnt know how to make a bootable USB drive, doubt he knows any advanced cmd prompt commands to get this to install.

I've used command prompts before, I'll check out your link. Sure I can figure it out. I haven't touched a PC in about 4 years, just wanna load this up for my mom.

Just use this man. If you don't have a disc drive, find a computer that does and create an image (.iso) of the disc, then use that image and this program to create your bootable flash drive. Not difficult.
