my advice just don't buy the cheapest one off ebay. That's what i did and it's off by .6volt. Well all i have to do is add .6v in my head each time i look at it. not fun!

are you talking true rms clamp meter ?

OR do you mean the little box with knob capable of reading dc volts / ac current

and testing for ohm / ground resistance ?

I got mine from autozone... wait, maby it was actually radio shack.... works great.

about the true rms clamp meter - I definatley want to check in to this.

seems like a good investment even at $150 it costs to be able to know what kind of power you are giving out of the amp - along with what ever other functions are avalable of this thing.

I wonder if its capable of reading what kind of amperage is coming from the alternator ?

hmm let me see if i can find one cheaper and i'll let you know.

no doubt...I might be able to shave a few bucks off but they do go for about 30 shipped on ebay.
