well its for my friends, he likes nvidia and wants 512 mb memory. but you can post wat you have and we can talk. slot type is PTI. i have a fx5200 right now.

What kind of games does he play? There aren't really any 512mb cards out there, and memory really isnt anywhere near as important as numerous other factors. I have a 9800pro which would destroy that fx5200 however its still a slow card in comparison to anything halfway new.

I Have an PCI-E card as well, well 2, however I dont think its that new

im not at his comp but he asked his dad and he said PCI and has another type of slot but didnt know what it was.

Not longer, its actually a hair shorter, however it will be set back about an inch from the white PCI slots. There will only be one AGP slot and will be on the top of all the other expansion slots.

Well let us know if it pci or pci xpress ill see wat i have your not gonna find any good pci cards anymore really and normally they are priced higher
