AFAIK Axis is 3hp motor. TC2K is TC9.

I loved mine, absolutely gorgeous in small-ish low tuned box for home theater type tuning.

I have TC Sounds 15" Axis quad coil 1.2 ohms per coil and its in perfect condition no dents dings also its the silver cone not the black one. I love this sub but am in need of higher power sub. I'm in San Diego.
