I possibly want to buy the shipping stuff or even everything someone has gotten when they recieved there subwoofer in the mail. its so i can ship my 12" RE HC. i want to buy this locally. thanks. sorry if i dont make sense, dont know how to explain it.

BTW: A 12" HC doesn't weigh 50 pounds.If you're lucky it'll break 35lbs.

thanks....didnt know the exact wieght so it was a guesstimate.

so how should i do it? just expanding foam or expanding foam and the way i want to do it?

Well, you don't need to go to too many extremes.RE just throws all the subs up to the XXX in a thin cardboard box with just a little board and some blue foam on the bottom.I can't imagine your packing idea to be any worse than theirs.

Oh, my bad.I forgot, they put the RE series in some funky *** foam strips.

a wooden crate will probably get broken by the shipping ***'s and woods gonna go through your sub
