WTB Sub Parts to make my own sub...

I want to try reconing/building my own sub... basically i want something really cheap looks dont matter at all..

I want to learn how to recone and stuff.. Nothing big right now..

I also am looking for some help on how to do it.. i searched around and watched a couple videos on how to recone...

Just looking for practice and see what im capable of doing myself.. not in a real hurry for parts..

I know you need a motor and basket to match etc... but otherwise i dont know much about compatibility.

Looking for a little help willing to make it worth someones while...

Dont got a bunch of money to blow as this will just be for fun etc.. but i can spend whatever just over a few weeks...

i would find a completely blown sub, take the soft parts out of it, post some pix online and see what people think will fit in it.

there are motors and baskets for sale all the time

i'd look for something with a 2.5" or 3" coil as well, they seem to be the most abundant.

Id find a motor you would be interested in getting or contact team psi or someone else who can supply recone kits and find out what would be reasonably cheap. Id assume you would plan on using the driver after, so pick something you want?..otherwise the Sundown e8's may be your best bet as far as price of recones go.

Ebay may be a good place to check as well. I know i had found a bunch of cheap recone kits for my home audio subs (cerwin vega)

I'm selling the motor on the left including the coil, 2.5" D4. It's sitting next to a TC-9 with 1" slugs. Just shoot me a PM me if you want it.
