I have a set of Polk/Momo MMC650 with some custom plates I made to mount them in 6x9 holes. I used them as rear fill in my old daily and they sounded great (I only had them installed for a couple months before I sold the car so they are in perfect condition).

Here are a couple pictures of how it worked:
