WTB- Shop Space

Hey guys,

Im looking to find out anywhere you guys know of that would basically rent out space for me to set up shop (wood shop) because I am simply losing so much time (and $) by only being able to work with nice weather and during daylight.

Granted almost none of you live near me, but if you have ideas or know of places/people that would rent me out space to basically come+go as I please that I can make a simple monthly payment on that'd be great.

And Im looking for a space that's enclosed, with power, running water not necessary but it'd be nice, climate controlled isnt necessary but again it'd be nice...and around the size of (preferably a little bigger than) a one car garage.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated because I don't have any options for a place like this and I pretty much need one, my productivity would be greatly improved and I could work into the night.

they are called storage units for a reason..lol. For storing equipment and stuff...not using it for a workshop. Power tools would be loud as hell inside one of these.

^yea, my table saw's pretty quiet actually...but my router would be hell inside a sheet metal unit

Not to mention the absolute mess that it would make with dust dna scraps and such. I think this would be your biggest draw back is the dust and scrap created from wood working and such, where if you were just doing installs or something or a more clean craft then you wouldn't have as much trouble.

I would think craigslist or that WantAd (if you have that out there) would really be your best bet for a local score. Who knows maybe a friend of a friend has a nice workshop or something that already has all the tools and will just let you use the place and tools for a small fee, would be sweet lol.

There is power at every storage place usually, we have outlets on every building.

People can use the storage units for whatever they want.

You really think they care what you keep/do in those? hell no we just want your money and could care less haha

And I actually could lol (I have like 6 car batteries at home), i bet the saturn could charge them pretty darn quick too...but that wouldn't be practical and it would be a huge pain lol (and I would like to deliver all of my stuff there and stock up big-time on materials and simply bike there when im going to work on stuff...so no car handy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif).
