WTB shallow mount subs

looking to buy some shallow mount subs something along SD-2 or something like that max depth is 6" looking for a 12 or 2 12's lmk what you got

I agree. 8's or 10's would work better than a 12.
1 12" rated 600w in that same enclosure won't be comparable to your 1 10" zv4. Also, I think the 12 SD-2 recommends 2.0 cuft ported.

Your best bet though would be to make a center console and put 2 12's ported running 600w each.

oh yea of course it won't compare to it. I'm just looking for a basic musical system. i don't want to spend more than $500 on everything comps, sub and amps

You should be able to get you a good 500 rms amp for like 100-150

then spend the other 200-250 on comps

you can probably get the type r 8s cheaper too I don't know though.
