*WTB/Resistor*

I doubt you would find it at radioshack, most resistors are 1/4 watt.
Also I couldnt find a Sand Cast Resistor but maybe one of these will work.

last I checked, the shaq can order resistors of many spec. Depending on which one you visit, you may be able to tell them what you are looking for and they can find it.

Morning Guys/

I should have mentioned that the resistor is for the Large relay for my Alumapro 15 Farad Cap,I won on E/Bay.The Seller didn't have the Relays,so I made the small Relay from a Potter/BrumField,40/30 Amp,and used a relay socket.I took the Female terminals out the Socket and soldered/heat shrunk up some longer/larger gauge, colored wire.

I have a Round Solenoid,it's small, from a school bus,and will use that in place of the Large one. That Sand Cast resistor goes on the larger relay/solenoid.

The resistor must be needed for the Cap,to help protect it. I do not know the Electronics parts, but just Pos. & Neg....I don't want something to happen to the Cap.

Raymond

Morning/

I'll check them out today/;),and probably order 2 or 3 of them. The Resistor I had

from the Smaller Alumapro Cap5,I broke the wire lead from one end of it/:( .

The name of it is:XICON.It's stamped like this:5W 5 Ohm[Ohm Symbol] and appears to be a "J".I looked high and low for that one,but couldn't find it.I found XICON,but not in the same values as mine.

Thank You very much for your Time & Help for me/:)...Much Appreciated.

Regards/

Raymond

How about some Caddocks?

Morning/

I can't use that type[i don't think] .Are the wire leads stiff or somewhat bendable?

Cause I have to crimp ring terminals

onto them and hook it up to the Large Relay/Solenoid

Thank You for your Time/Help and Search/;)...

Regards/

Raymond
